Position: Senior Engineer/Project Manager (Bridges/Marine Structures)

Role Summary:
Steere is seeking a senior engineer/project manager with 5 to 10 years of bridge/structural experience to join our Bridge/Structures Group and assist with the delivery of transportation and marine structures projects throughout New England. The role will blend technical expertise with project management to a level commensurate to the successful candidate’s experience, qualifications, and motivation. The successful candidate shall be experienced in bridge and/or marine structural engineering and have the leadership and organizational skills necessary to lead and manage a team of engineers on various types of dynamic transportation and structures projects.
Typical Duties:
Management of structural analysis, design, and contract document preparation (plans, specifications, estimate).
Management of project budget and schedule.
Coordination and communication with clients, sub-consultants, and project team members.
Quality review of work products.
Proposal preparation and Scope and Fee development.
Required Qualifications:
5 to 10 years of progressive experience in bridge/structural engineering.
Ability to manage projects from preliminary planning through completion.
Excellent written and verbal skills.
Proficiency in structural analysis software such as SAP, CSI Bridge, or similar.
PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
Bachelors (minimum) and Masters (preferred) degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
